HOW WE ARRANGED OUR LIVING SPACE
To ensure the healthy development of our children, we have acquired a new, dignified home near Lake Victoria. We have renovated it not only to meet local legal requirements, but also, thanks largely to you, our supporters, we have built a football field, playground, small garden and bread oven.
All this was made possible thanks to the generosity and goodwill of you - benefactors, sponsors and friends. For this, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts on behalf of our reborn children.
Cooperation
Direct experience with one's own effectiveness and willpower is extremely important for the growth of a self-confident individual. Working within a group brings up even more challenges- one is also challenged with human diversity.
Empathy and the ability to coexist in relationships comes not only from sharing the same faith. Communication, understanding and compromises are crucial for a healthy social life.
OUR TRIPS AROUND KENYA
Discipline and hard work are not the only components of a full life. Joyful, lighthearted leisure time is essential for each and every human being.
Meaningful Life
,Work is only justified by leisure time. To admit the emptiness of leisure time is to admit the impossibility of life.'
Guy Debord
COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE
Our primary focus is helping street-connected children. At the same time, we also support individuals from the local community and the community as a whole, especially in times of crisis. Although our capacity is limited and we must carefully decide who can be admitted to our program based on the potential long-term impact, we strive to extend our help beyond the centre whenever possible by providing basic assistance to those in need.
This short-term material aid also applies other numerous poverty-stricken classes. In times of crisis (floods, drought, covid-19 etc.) we try to reach as far as we can.
The Miserables
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Mt 25:31-46
OUR REBORN PUPILS
The children who are able to undergo the initial phases of the rehabilitation process are like new people. They are finally able to enjoy themselves, just like every child should be able to.
The next, phase is the longest and most important. It concerns formal education. To build one’s diligence and perseverance is a heavy task, especially if the process is delayed so much. However, it is not impossible, it just takes drive.
